Kinder to distribute belt conveyor covers

Conveyor component specialist Kinder Australia has been appointed Australia and New Zealand distributor by Capotex for the latter’s range of belt conveyor protection products.

Neil Kinder, CEO at Kinder Australia commented, “We are very excited about this new exclusive partnership between Kinder Australia and Capotex.

“Bulk materials handling operations overseas have for a long time been covering the conveyed load, and experiencing the productivity benefits of creating controlled conditions.

“Capotex’s belt covers are purpose-built and designed to improve personal safety such as reducing noise and reducing dust emissions. These are now issues that address growing environmental compliance requirements for Australia operations.

“The Capotex range of belt covers are a perfect fit with our existing conveyor hardware range.”

Martin Schmidt, account manager for Capotex said “We are delighted to have this partnership with Kinder Australia. Their commitment to their customers to provide innovative, high quality and effective bulk materials solutions matches our Capotex corporate values perfectly. Kinder’s family values are very strong and positive which makes working with their team consistently productive and reliable.”

Neil Kinder went on to say, “The Capotex range of conveyor belt covers have several immediate benefits for the Australian quarry and extractive industry. First, they are all very simple and lightweight to install, requiring less resources, and for ongoing maintenance tasks the covers are very easy to manoeuvre so that reduces any potential for physical strain that might have previously deterred sites from installing belt covers.

“Secondly, having conveyed loads covered meets OHS compliance regulations, by reducing noise and dust emissions into the surrounding atmospheric environment. This improves both residential areas as well as the natural habitat nearby.”

The Capotex covers are manufactured using a wide range of optional materials including galvanized, pre-laquered and stainless steel, or aluminium and polyester fibreglass at a thickness of 0.6mm, making them light, and easy to mount using self-drilling screws and C-1 hinges.

Kinder Australia can supply a variety of cover types such as lateral wind-shields, fireproof systems, and freely accessible covers, arch-shaped, windowed and skirted covers.
